Life in the Arts brings the arts into classrooms throughout Monterey County

via a monthly live,one-hour, interactive call-in television program.

Hosted by Maia Carroll, former news anchor and TV personality,

each episode features one or more Monterey County artists

who instruct both the studio and viewing audience from a prepared lesson plan.

Students have the opportunity to phone in during the broadcast

with questions for the artist. Post and preparatory teacher and

classroom materials are available to classes registered

with the Monterey County Office of Education.
